Collinsville High School has an official school news website! (Check out the Collinsville Panther Press here!) I became the faculty sponsor of The Panther Press early 2022, and we are going strong. If your teen is interested in being part of the school press, guidelines are below. They do not have to be part of the journalism or media class to be on The Panther Press.
CHS Panther Press
Journalism Staff
Guidelines for Membership
We need students who can write about the events going on around campus, write feature articles, come up with content ideas, take photographs, interact with students of all grade levels, and interview staff and faculty. We also need web and graphic designers and those interested in business management and in marketing (creating advertisements for local businesses). If any of these interest you, consider joining the journalism staff! Come see Mrs. Gifford to sign up!
